ACCOUNTABILITY OF RAPISTS & MURDERERS & THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM

We often read in the newspapers that wherever there is a crime, the police have failed to protect. Be it catching a stalker, rapists, a murderer, etc. The list is endless .... each time a crime is committed, the media, police like hawks, land on the police and demand justice. The police, at times, are on 280 days non-stop duty with zero family life and zero health care, serving a selfish society. The police are constantly badgered for failing in their duty and are incapable of keeping the people safe. Why do we hold only the police accountable?

But ! wait a minute Have we ever questioned ourselves that the police too are people just like us? Why are the rapists, murderers, etc., not questioned? Why is the justice system itself not questioned? Why are these criminals let out on flimsy grounds for them to commit crimes again? There have been countless cases where the police has & had gathered the right evidence. Sometimes the evidence is blatant and on your face, yet the judicial system has moved at a snail's pace, enough to frustrate & five up on rightful justice.

Why are the perpetrators not media-grilled? For e.g. the Jhanvi Kukerja case ( Mumbai ), why did the media not question the boy and his family? Why did they not question Jhanvi's best friend, who is on bail? Why was the best friend's family not questioned?  Why do we need to protect and hide their identity?  Why are they not given death sentences, which will scare others from committing crimes?

It's high time we hold the perpetrators accountable, the justice system & society accountable, and stop badgering the police as our punching bags.

Corruption arises from loopholes; the loopholes are in our society and our justice system.

The phrase Justice delayed is justice denied applies to our Indian Judicial system !!
